Sound absorbing fiber cotton is an ideal sound insulation material, which is made of 100% polyester fiber with a density range of 10-80kg/m3. It has good performance, including environmental protection, fire protection, heat insulation, moisture-proof and mould proof. Different thicknesses can meet different levels of sound insulation requirements.

As the most popular substitute for glass wool, polyester acoustic cotton has the characteristics of sound insulation, environmental protection, lightweight and impact resistance. You can also order professional fire-resistant sound insulation panels to better protect your life. We have almost all the documents required for import and export, such as flame retardant report, environmental report, sound absorption report and SGS test report.

Our products have passed the certification of professional testing institutions and have a good sound insulation effect. The noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of our product is 0.85-0.95, which means that 85% of the noise is absorbed by the panel and only 5% - 15% is reflected back to the room.

As it is measured manually, there may be an error of 1-3mm, which belongs to the normal range. The size of the whole panel is 1220mm * 2420mm, and the thickness is 8mm, 9mm and 12mm (we have panels of these three thicknesses in stock). We can cut them into other sizes according to your requirements. Other OEM thicknesses or sizes are acceptable. It should be noted that the division of the board will affect secondary sales and cannot be returned.

We have four kinds of acoustic divider:

1. common panel: specification 1220 * 2420 * 8 mm, 2.8 kg/sheet

2. high quality panel:1220 * 2420 * 9mm, 3.8kg/sheet

3. smooth panel: 1220 * 2420 * 9mm, 5 kg/sheet

Installation Instructions

Installation - Method 1

1. You can choose universal glue or hot melt glue to stick the acoustic cotton on the wall. 2. However, the sound-absorbing cotton has no decorative function, so there are two disadvantages when doing this. First, it is ugly, and second, it is easy to get dirty, and it is difficult to clean after getting dirty.

Installation - Method 2

1. A 5cm keel shall be placed on the wall surface that needs sound insulation (the keel spacing is about 60cm), and a 5cm gradient sound absorbent cotton shall be filled in the middle; 2. Cut the glass wool with a small cutter and put it into the keel gap, which needs to be filled; 3. After the soundproof cotton is filled in the keel, you can lay decorative panels on the wall.
